Will you help us add diversity to this children’s woodland project? EDF Ireland will join Easy Treesie on 6th Dec. to carry out a propagation and tree maintenance workshop, helping our children’s project, with the More Trees Now method as demonstrated to us in the Meer Bomen Nu Roadshows of National Tree Week and November 2023.
More Trees Now promotes tree propagation using cuttings. We will learn the technique of taking cuttings from willow and elder in the hedgerow adjoining the new woodland and will plant the cuttings within the existing footprint of this site, commenced on a greenfield sward in 2019 in collaboration with the local business community, school children and the local authority.
Since 2020 More Trees Now have transplanted more than a million four hundred thousand trees and shrubs, will you join us?
An educational, fun day in nature. You learn to look at nature differently; nature gives us in abundance and you get to know all kinds of different types of trees in winter mode.
