And here is her story. I picked up a cartoon-syle booklet on her extraordinary life at the UN Paris office which I have often read to children. Her life is one of bravery and challenge where she was often mocked for her vision of how the simple act of tree planting could make lasting ripples in the lives of so many around her whose lives were so compromised by hardship.
