Thank you to the 14 visiting members of Warwick Rotary, U.K. who joined members of Rotary Raheny branch in a tree planting ceremony of a Bird Cherry at the Peace Pole location in North Dublin. This rounded off the day nicely where Rotary had supported the childrens’ tree planting event at Clontarf Hospital earlier in the day and included an address about the history of the Plant-for-the-Planet project being managed by easy treesie – Crann in Ireland. And a great dinner! Altogether a day of tree-ts.
